CREATIVE METTA RETREATS
The Creative Metta retreat is the combined vision of Gilli Higgs and Joanne Webb, two working artists who have both been on their own personal, yet very different, artistic and soul-searching journey. Designed as a fusion of creativity, mindfulness, breathwork, gentle movement and Kirtan music, each element endeavours to help us explore and better understand our own internal world whilst supporting inner work. A blend of mind, body and spirit.
Our Creative Metta retreat is best described as a transformative practise that involves heart, bravery, trust, imagination and belief. It not only assists us in discovering our more authentic self through painting but also allows us to connect more deeply to our intuition. It can enable us to open up to change and new ways of being; to let go of blocks that are stopping us; to embrace spontaneity, mystery and freedom; to be fearless and brave in our creative work; to be intuitive and free in our expressions.
The very act of painting, supported by the holistic practices, has the wonderful ability to soothe, excite, heal, challenge and reveal.
